Lipstick - the easiest way to glam it up. Even when I look and feel like crap, I find adding lipstick makes me feel put together.
This piece is all about my collection of lipsticks, check out my gloss collection here and my balm collection here!
First off is the first lipstick I ever bought, the L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick in Sheer Papaya. As you can see, this lipstick is very worn out, and it may have accidentally broken open in the pocket of my favourite bag and subsequently stopped me from using that pocket ever again. It's a pretty dark peach colour, it's quite pinky with just a little orange. I love this colour, it looks best with a soft makeup look and a little bronzer.
Where's it made? Not sure...
It looks like Sheer Papaya isn't available anymore, but you can check out all the colours here, and the new packaging is way nicer!
Second is the Karen Murrell Lipstick in Violet Mousse. It's a light, purple-y pink lipstick made of all-natural ingredients. It has a creamy texture and glides on very easily while also nourishing your lips. The colour goes well with dark eyes and pale skin, and is great for everyday looks that are suitable for work. Added bonus: pretty packaging.
Where's it made? Australia!
You can get it at the Co-op.
In the middle is Revlon's Colour Burst Lip Butter in Pink Lemonade - feels like a balm, looks like a lipstick. It's a soft baby pink which almost looks nude when applied. Probably my most used lipstick.
Where's it made? No idea.
Check out the range here.
Next is Rimmel's Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick in shade 09. This is a strong dark red that works best with dramatic eyes, and is perfect for a night out. Personally, I find that I have to wear this with a lot of makeup, it's just not one of those colours that you can wear with a bare face.
Where's it made? England!
Check out the range here.
Lucky last is my favourite lipstick! Bright pink colour, gorgeous packaging, supports people with HIV/AIDS, what more could you want in a lipstick?! I love wearing this colour for nights out when I want to feel a little sexy.
Where's it made? Canada!
The Lipglass and Lipstick are available at Mac.
