Ok, so I was supposed to see the new X-Men movie on Thursday night, but it was sold out. Bummer, right? So I went to go see it tonight, thinking the crowds would have died down a little by now. Uh… no. X-Men: Days of Future Past was SOLD OUT folks. So I will simply have to wait until next weekend to see and review it.
But, I did get to see an AMAZING movie tonight, and I would like to say a little about it, even though it isn't a Marvel film.
Bad Neighbours, starring the ab-tastic Zac Efron and the less muscular but equally talented Seth Rogen, is quite possibly the funniest movie I have ever seen, and I do mean that. It is also a very informative guide on what happens when a frat moves in next door to a couple with a baby. Basically, shit gets really fucked up.
On that note…
Best Performance: Dave Franco, I personally think he's underrated. This dude is a great actor, Hollywood, take note!
Special Mention: I HAVE to say something about Rose Byrne. Byrne is phenomenal in this film, she makes her character dynamic and brings a suburban mom to life, while making her relatable and entertaining.
The woman is also GORGEOUS, and FUNNY. It's not fair, you shouldn't get to be that perfect.
Special Mention: I knew Zac Efron was sexy as all hell, and I knew he was a great actor, but I didn't know how well he'd do in comedy. I was very surprised, in a good way. Kudos to you man, you can do it all.
Best Scene: I'll try not to give too much away, but it involves fighting and fairy lights.
Best Shirtless Scene: Zac Efron, by the pool, flipping Seth Rogen the bird.
Funniest Scene: Ummmm, dildos. That is all.
