Lip balms - the saviour for those of us with perpetually dry lips.
This piece is all about my collection of lip balms, stay tuned for lipsticks, and check out my gloss collection here!
I'm going from left to right, and will link to all the ones that are still available - some of these are pretty old!
Mmm Egg Snog, a Christmas Lush Lip Balm, that I purchased during their Christmas in July special. This festive deliciousness tastes like hazelnut and cinnamon, is Vegan, and made with all natural ingredients. I love this lip balm, it smells incredible and moisturises your lips, the only thing I don't like is that the teeny tiny tin is a struggle to open.
Where's it made? Australia! Lush Australia produces all its stuff locally.
This lovely lip balm is only available during Christmas time and in July, but there's other flavours which you can find here.
Second from the left is the Body Shop's Born Lippy Lip Balm in Raspberry. This lip balm smells amazing, just like raspberry candy, and leaves your lips soft and luscious.
Where's it made? The USA!
The full range is available here.
Sephora's Color Reveal Lip Balm supposedly adjusts to your unique PH level to create a customised shade. For me, it just makes my lips a little more pinky. It's supposed to be honey flavoured, but I honestly can't taste it. That said, it leaves your lips super moisturised and soft.
Where's it made? Italy!
This unique lip balm is available at Sephora USA and Sephora Australia.
Want a super cheap, basic lip balm with a teeny bit of colour to it? Then Nivea's Fruity Shine Lip Balm in Pink Guava is a great go-to product. It's a little bit shimmery and gives your lips a little colour, plus it smells fresh and sweet. Mmm... guava.
Where's it made? Thailand!
Where can you get it? Pretty much everywhere I think? Supermarkets, Priceline, tiny little corner stores...
Next up is something that I've had for years, and as you can see, it's very well worn. This is the Coca Cola Vanilla flavoured Lipsmacker, a lip balm that promises Coca Cola flavour, and actually delivers on this promise!
Where's it made? The USA!
You can get the Vanilla Coke flavour here, and check out the full range of flavours here, there's so many to choose from! Salted Caramel... YUM!
Meet Kellogg's Frosted Flakes Lip Balm. It doesn't taste like frosted flakes, but it does taste like extra sweet vanilla. It doesn't last that long on your lips, and it isn't as deeply moisturising as Lipsmacker's products.
Where's it made? Taiwan!
You can get it on ASOS.
EOS Lip Balms are super moisturising and come in a range of flavours. These babies were heavily promoted by a number of celebs for a while - from Miley Cyrus' We Can't Stop video, to the Instagram's of Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Zayn Malik, and Christina Aguilera.
Where's it made? I'm not sure...
Get them here. Plus, there's a lush new range of flavours!
